Q – What is a simple task?
A – Stuff that takes 30 minutes and under. Like creating new web pages, installing and updating plugins, adding a new website section, inserting and formatting text, sizing that perfect image to complement your blog post or even just generally tidying up your site design when it starts to look a bit messy. If you request an urgent task over the weekend we will do our best to get it done (and in most cases we do) but our 3 service plans usually cover Monday to Friday.
Q – What is not included in the We Do Website Updates service?
A – Things that are technically more complicated like; coding, technical development of a website, website redesigns, content creation, copy writing – Things that generally take more than 30 mins. We can do all of these (no problem) but not as part of this updates service. Just contact email@example.com and we’ll see you right.
Q – What types of websites do you specialise in?
A – We mainly work with WordPress, Drupal, Joomla and Magento
Q – How many tasks can I give you at any one time?
A – Tasks must be requested one at a time, and each must be complete before a new request. All tasks are subject to fair use policy. This service is for simple tasks, if you require full blown design or major technical expertise we can help you with that no problem, just not as part of this updates service. Q – This sounds too good to be true…how can you provide these services for clients on the Monthly plans?
We’re fair and we’ve found our clients are as well. We support a very reasonable number of tasks per client and we will let you know if you’re stretching the friendship.
Q – What counts as one brand and will you service more than one brand?
One brand is one company or organization. We are really trying to help small and growing businesses get the best out of the internet and their websites, so we don’t offer multiple brand updates as part of this service. If you manage lots of clients (like an agency or similar) then we’d be happy to help you manage your websites. Contact email@example.com
Q – What countries do you operate in and where are you based?
We will work worldwide. In fact, sometimes the time difference can be our friend, so while you’re sleeping we can be updating your site ready for the next day. All our prices are in UK £ sterling and will be converted by PayPal. We are all from the UK and have offices in both Scotland and London. All work will be completed in the UK.
Q – Do I have to commit to a contract on the monthly plan?
A – No. Our monthly service is billed using a recurring monthly subscription. There are no contracts to sign, setup fees or cancellation fees.
Q – Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
A – Absolutely! You can upgrade or downgrade your subscription plan at any time. For upgrades, the change will take effect immediately. Downgrades will take effect the following billing month.
